In his pleasant comfy bed
The sun refused to shine
And the rain declined to cease
A weather for two it was
Relished with a luscious girl
Oh the comfort of the weather!
The warmth from the heavy blanket
Better still the heat of passion
From two bodies set on fire
In a world devoid of worries
Life was indebted to him
Adio, the great soothsayer
With eyes stuck out from sockets
And hands lifted to the sky
Had proclaimed in a loud voice
“Dogo shall be a great man!!!
He shall transcend
and flourish”
Here was the planting season
When men dwelt in their farmlands
With hands blistering and battering
Bathed in water from skin pores
Clearing weeds of the present
Sowing seeds of the future
Dogo woke up to a cup of tea
Steaming up to the realms of heaven
He treated himself to a sumptuous meal
And gave thanks for the strength to eat
Now it was time to rest in wait
Of the greatness that he so deserved
That night the gods smiled on the earth
Rewarding each man for his daily slog
To some they gave harvest in full
Others the things they cherished most
Dogo, they blessed with blissful rest
Now, Mr. Dogo rests in peace
